Rodrigo Alonso Alcalde

Rodrigo Alonso Alcalde is an Associate Professor at the University of Burgos, affiliated with the College of Humanities and Communication and the Department of History, Geography and Communication. His research activities focus on prehistory and archaeological heritage, particularly as part of the PREPARQ research group (Prehistoria y Patrimonio Arqueológico).

His doctoral work, completed in 2020, investigated the origins of research in the Sierra de Atapuerca region (963-1936) through the lens of visits, legends, and scientific development.
