Roderich C. Thümmel

Dr. Roderich C. Thümmel is a Part-Time Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Tübingen, since 2003. He is also a Honorary Consul of Iceland since 2012 and Managing Partner of the law firm Thümmel, Schütze & Partner since 2004. His expertise spans Corporate Law, Stock Corporation Law, Corporate Governance, and Arbitration.

Dr. Thümmel’s research focuses on Organ Liability (Vorstands- und Aufsichtsratshaftung), D&O Insurance, and International Arbitration. His work addresses managerial risk mitigation, supervisory board dynamics, and cross-border transactional frameworks, emphasizing German-American legal comparisons.
