Roderic Kermarec is a Lecturer in European Law at Christ Church and University College, Oxford, and has taught Roman Law at Queen's College and Contract Law at Trinity College. He served as a Visiting Professor of Corporate Law and Banking and Financial Law at ESSEC Business School in Paris. His research focuses on extraterritoriality in financial regulation, particularly equivalence frameworks in the EU and substituted compliance in the U.S.
