Antoine GAUDEMET serves as Professor of Private Law at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, affiliated with the Paris School of Law and Management and the Paris Institute for Research in Business Law (IRDA Paris). He currently holds key administrative roles including Vice-President of the Paris School of Law and Management, Director of the Master's Degree in Business Law - DJCE, and Founder and Director of the Compliance Officer University Diploma.
His research expertise centers on corporate finance law with specialized focus on mergers and acquisitions (public, distressed, and private equity), capital markets regulation, banking compliance, and business restructuring. He teaches advanced courses in international capital markets, stock exchange law, and ethical compliance frameworks for financial institutions.
Professor GAUDEMET maintains significant external engagements through editorial board memberships for leading legal journals including Joly Sociétés Bulletin and Semaine Juridique Entreprise et Affaires, while serving on the Legal Committee of the National Association of Joint Stock Companies and the European Banking Institute. He actively participates in regulatory working groups for the Financial Markets Authority and previously represented France at United Nations Commission on International Trade Law sessions.
