Robynne Braun

Robynne Braun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland. She is also Director of the PM&R Program and the Brain Rehab and Recovery Lab. Her research integrates kinesiology, stroke rehabilitation, and motor control.

Her research focuses on stroke recovery, motor control, and genomic approaches to rehabilitation. She has pioneered kinematic analysis methods and gene therapy integration in neurological disorders.

Recent publications highlight her work on genetic markers for stroke outcomes, robotic rehabilitation, and clinical trial design. She has received national recognition, including the 2010 ERF New Investigator Award.
