Robyn Walsh

Robyn Walsh is an Assistant Professor in the Education Department at Capital University. Prior to her academic role, she worked as a high school counselor and counseling director in Richmond, Virginia, for 9 years, serving a district with over 60,000 students. Her work focuses on preparing future school counselors and addressing contemporary educational challenges.

Articles span 2017–2024, with a focus on qualitative insights into counselor roles and systemic challenges.

Walsh teaches courses such as Intro to School Counseling, Counseling Children and Adolescents, and Consultation and Collaboration. She also supervises school counseling practicums and internships, emphasizing hands-on training and lifespan development.
