Robyn Elizabeth Boeré is an Associate Professor in Theology at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Theology. Her research focuses on Moral Theology, Child Ethics, End-of-life Decision-Making, and the intersection of Children and Nature. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto (2019), an MA from Regent College (2015), and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Lethbridge (2009).
Her work bridges theology, ethics, and interdisciplinary studies, with notable publications on ecological care, Thomistic ethics, and pediatric mortality. She participates in the research group The Democracy of Silence: The Medicalisation of Democratic Rights in the Debate about Abortion (MEDRA).
Previous roles include Associate Lecturer in Christian Ethics at the University of St Andrews (2020–2022) and Research Fellow at the Lonergan Research Institute (2019–2020).
