Robin T. Bye

Robin T. Bye is a Professor and Deputy Head of Research at the Department of ICT and Natural Sciences at NTNU Ålesund. He serves as Academic Program Director for the MSc in Mechatronics and Automation and BSc in Automation and Intelligent Systems programs. His research focuses on cyber-physical systems, autonomous systems, and biomechanical engineering, with collaborations involving the NTNU SFI AutoShip initiative and Ålesund Biomechanics Lab. Bye actively contributes to projects addressing maritime safety, surgical simulation, and educational technology.

Research interests include:
