Robin Stevens is an Associate Professor of Communication and Associate Dean of Research at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication. Her work focuses on digital epidemiology and community-engaged research to address health disparities among Black and Latinx youth, particularly in sexual health, mental health, and substance misuse prevention. She directs the Health Equity & Media Lab and has been funded by the NIH and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Her research integrates social media analysis with public health interventions, emphasizing how digital neighborhoods shape youth well-being. Recent studies include HIV-related Twitter trends, gendered social media interactions among Black youth, and substance use discourse analysis.
