Dr. Robin Smith is an Associate Professor in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading, affiliated with the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS). He specializes in Earth System modeling, particularly focusing on ice-sheet-climate interactions, sea-level rise, and the stability of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation. His work involves developing and applying models such as UKESM and FAMOUS to understand past and future climate dynamics.
