Robin Meyers is a Professor of Rhetoric and Distinguished Professor of Social Justice at Oklahoma City University's College of Arts & Sciences. He also serves as Senior Minister of Mayflower Congregational UCC Church in Oklahoma City since 1985. Meyers holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma (1991), M.Div. from Phillips University (1979), and a BA from Wichita State University (1975).
His research focuses on rhetoric, social justice, and progressive Christianity, with notable works challenging institutional religious practices. Meyers has authored seven books exploring themes like ethical preaching, sacramental living, and resistance to systemic injustice. His publications bridge academic theology with grassroots activism, emphasizing a practical faith engaged with societal issues.
