Robin H Mara is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Studies at San José State University. He holds a Master of Arts in Communication from CSU-San Jose (2009). His professional qualifications include certifications as a Mediator (Dispute Resolution, 2007), Flight Instructor (1994), and multiple aviation licenses. He teaches and advises students with office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 3:00pm in HGH 210.
His career highlights include participation in the Salzburg Global Seminar (2008) and a decades-long engagement with aviation since obtaining his Private Pilot License in 1981. Beyond academia, Mara enjoys outdoor activities, travel, and family life with his husband and daughter.
