Robin Dru Germany is a Professor of Photography at Texas Tech University's School of Art. Her research explores the liminal space between land and water, examining the contrast between the sunlit human world above and the obscured darkness beneath through underwater photographic techniques. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including at the Fort Wayne Art Museum, Center for Photography at Woodstock, Manifest Gallery, New York Hall of Science, and international venues like the Fotografia Festival in Arezzo, Italy.

Germany's practice integrates technical experimentation with conceptual investigations of environmental boundaries, supported by multiple Texas Tech University research grants.
