Robin Angelini is a PreDoc Researcher at the Department of Informatics, Technische Universität Wien. Their work focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, with an emphasis on accessibility technologies for Deaf communities and speculative design methodologies. Angelini holds a BSc and Diplom-Ingenieur degree, and is affiliated with the ACCESSTECH project (2024–2029).
Research interests include reimagining technologies through Deaf perspectives, inclusive maker space access, and forging solidarity through participatory design. Notable contributions include the 2025 Best Paper Award-winning work on 'Speculating Deaf Tech' and explorations of Signing Avatars. Courses taught include Critical Theory of Media and Informatics, and Human Augmentation.
