Robin Andreasen

Robin Andreasen is a Professor of Linguistics & Cognitive Science and Philosophy at the University of Delaware, serving as Chair of the Linguistics and Cognitive Science Department. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, advised by Elliott Sober. Her research focuses on philosophy of science (biological/social), philosophy of race/gender, and institutional policies promoting diversity in STEM.

As Co-Principal Investigator on UD's NSF ADVANCE grant, her work addresses systemic barriers to women and underrepresented faculty in academic STEM fields. She co-leads initiatives to reform institutional practices for equity and inclusion. Andreasen sits on the editorial board of Critical Philosophy of Race and previously edited a special issue of The Monist.
