Roberto Lopez-Rosado

Roberto Lopez-Rosado, DPT, is an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine within the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences. He also serves as a core faculty member for the DPT Program and Course Director of Anatomy at the Northwestern University Prosthetics and Orthotics Center (NUPOC). With teaching appointments extending to the School of Professional Studies and visiting professor roles at Rocky Mountain University and Florida Gulf Coast University, his expertise spans biomechanics, stroke rehabilitation, and medical imaging safety.

He bridges clinical practice with engineering through biomechanical studies and imaging technologies.

His scientific accolades include the 2022 John X. Thomas Jr. Best Teachers of Feinberg Award, the 2021 DANIEL I. LINZER Diversity & Equity Award, and multiple teaching honors. He actively mentors students, serves on admissions committees, and promotes diversity in healthcare by engaging underserved communities.
