Roberto Corrada is a Professor of Law and holds the Mulligan Burleson Chair in Modern Learning at the Sturm College of Law, University of Denver. He is affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Collective on Race, Place & Law and the Workplace Law Program. His expertise spans Administrative Law, Contracts, Employment and Labor Law, and Workplace Law, with a focus on minority rights, the public/private distinction in labor law, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Education: JD from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America (1985); BA in Political Science/Speech Communications from The George Washington University (1982).
His research emphasizes the rights of ethnic and sexual minorities, labor law frameworks, and pedagogical advancements. He has published widely in journals such as the Wake Forest Law Review, Houston Law Review, and the Journal of Legal Education. Recognized as a distinguished educator, he has received numerous teaching awards, including the Carnegie Scholar distinction and the University of Denver Distinguished Teaching Award.
He has led significant service initiatives, including chairing the ACLU of Colorado (1998), the Association of American Law Schools Labor & Employment Relations Section (2002), and co-founding the Denver Urban Debate League (2007).
