Roberta Ergle

Dr. Roberta (Robbie) Ergle is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF), part of the College of Community Innovation and Education. She has been at UCF since 2003, leading the Ocala satellite Elementary Education program and serving as Program Coordinator, Internship Coordinator, and Student Advisor. Her work spans teacher training, international partnerships, and online education innovation.

Research Interests: Dr. Ergle focuses on instructional strategies, digital-age teaching, preservice teacher development, and international education impacts. She emphasizes practical mentorship, online course design, and collaboration with K-12 systems.

• Erasmus Grant (2019) for partnerships with Mary Immaculate College, Ireland
• High Quality Online Courses designation (2018) for EDF 4467 and EDG 6415
• FLDOE Clinical Mentoring Certification (2009–present)

Advising & Grants: Robbie supervised hundreds of preservice teachers across UCF campuses and coordinated international internships in Ireland and England. She secured grants and MOUs to strengthen teacher training programs in North Central Florida.
