Dr. Lee-Anne Trimble Spalding is a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF), part of the College of Community Innovation and Education. She holds all three of her degrees from UCF: a Doctorate in Elementary Education (2012), a Master’s in Educational Leadership (1998), and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (1994). Her research focuses on the impact of book access on urban students’ reading motivation and achievement, as evidenced by her dissertation titled *The Impact of Access to Books on the Reading Motivation and Achievement of Urban Elementary Students*.
