Robert Winter

Robert Winter is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Glass and Ceramics at the University of Sunderland. With over 20 years of experience, he transitioned from a nine-year industry career to academia in 2009. He holds a Master of Arts (distinction, 2005) and has spearheaded Fair-Trade partnerships since 2007, collaborating with organizations in India, Peru, Bolivia, and Vietnam. His teaching spans BA (Hons) Artist Designer Maker: Glass and Ceramics and MA Visual Practice.

• Leads workshops in developing countries, emphasizing technical and design expertise.
• Collaborates with museums as a technical consultant and manages participatory arts projects.
