Robert S. Wells is Professor of the Practice and Paul C. Genho Endowed Chair in Ranch Management at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. With a PhD in Beef Cattle Management from University of Illinois, his research focuses on sustainable ranching systems. Wells developed climate-smart production strategies through a $30 million USDA grant.
His expertise includes:

- Value-added calf marketing systems
- Ranch profitability and sustainability metrics
Wells previously directed the Integrity Beef Alliance, creating the first USRSB-recognized member-run sustainability program.
