Robert W. Grange

Robert W. Grange is a Professor at the Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). He serves as Assistant Department Head and Director of the Metabolism Core at Virginia Tech, while also being an Affiliate Faculty Member of the joint Virginia Tech and Wake Forest School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences. With over 30 years of experience in skeletal muscle function assays, he specializes in neuromuscular disease research, particularly focusing on Duchenne muscular dystrophy and X-linked myotubular myopathy. His work integrates gene therapy, dietary interventions, and exercise to improve muscle function in dystrophic models.
