Robert W. Amler, M.D., M.M.S., M.B.A., FAAP, FACPM, is Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Practice and Professor of Public Health and Pediatrics at New York Medical College. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer at the CDC's Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, where he coordinated anthrax response teams, launched children's health protection programs, and standardized environmental biomarkers.
