Robert Russell is a Lecturer at the University of California, Irvine School of Law and Senior Counsel at Taylor Nelson Amitrano LLP. He joined the firm in 2024, specializing in federal and state tax examinations, appeals, and litigation. His career includes prior roles at the IRS, U.S. Treasury, and the Joint Committee on Taxation. He has also worked at law firms in Orange County and Washington, D.C., focusing on tax controversy and consulting.
