Dr. Robert R. Wolfe is a Professor of Geriatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), serving at the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging. He previously held roles at Harvard Medical School and the UT Medical Branch at Galveston, where he was the John H. Sealy Distinguished Chair in Clinical Research and Chief of the Metabolism Unit at Shriners Burns Hospital. His research focuses on muscle metabolism regulation under aging and stressors like injury, sepsis, and cancer, using stable isotope tracers to quantify metabolic processes in humans.
