Robert Polewan is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Curry College. His research focuses on associative learning, utilizing behavioral, physiological, and computational techniques, particularly in studying nicotine's conditioned stimulus effects and its pharmacological interactions. Prior to joining Curry College, he served as an Assistant Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University and held postdoctoral and visiting research positions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Assumption College, respectively.

Dr. Polewan teaches courses spanning General Psychology, Biopsychology, Psychopharmacology, Cognitive Psychology, and specialized topics like Psychology and the Paranormal. His work examines nicotine's behavioral neuropharmacology and the potential of drugs like varenicline to share stimulus properties with nicotine.
