Robert Norton-Wright is a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge's Department of Computer Science and Technology, affiliated with Microsoft Research, Cambridge. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research assistant at the Computer Laboratory, spanning the Computer Architectures and Programming, Logic and Semantics groups. His research focuses on hardware security, specifically hardware support for compartmentalization and modeling the CHERI Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) as part of the REMS project. His PhD, supervised by Simon Moore, explored 'Hardware Support for Compartmentalisation.'
