Robert M. Weiss is the Donald Guthrie Professor of Urology at Yale School of Medicine, where he previously served as Chair of the Department of Urology (1986–2011) and Interim Chair of Surgery (1999–2001). He is a physician-scientist specializing in pediatric urology and urologic oncology. His research focuses on bladder cancer therapy using nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery, signal transduction pathways in urologic diseases, and translational applications of nanotechnology.
