Harris E. Foster Jr

Harris E. Foster Jr., MD, is a Professor of Urology at the Yale School of Medicine, specializing in voiding dysfunction, neurogenic bladder, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He holds affiliations with the Veteran’s Administration Connecticut Healthcare System, Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital, and The Hospital for Special Care. His research focuses on pharmacological and phytotherapeutic treatments for BPH and interstitial cystitis. Dr. Foster earned his MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and serves on national guideline committees, including the American Urological Association (AUA) BPH and Overactive Bladder (OAB) guidelines committee.
