Dr. Robert Loudon is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Biology Department at Drexel University. He holds a PhD in Immunology from Thomas Jefferson University (1997) and a BS in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University (1982). His postdoctoral training included work on G protein-coupled receptors at Thomas Jefferson University and Fox Chase Cancer Center.
His research examines Rho GTPases, actin cytoskeleton regulation, and G protein-coupled receptor signaling mechanisms. With publications spanning neuroscience and cell biology, his work explores neuronal development, cellular signaling pathways, and molecular regulation mechanisms.
Dr. Loudon emphasizes teaching as his primary passion, integrating his extensive research experience into student education. Outside academia, he enjoys family time, gardening, and music.
