Robert Krawczyk is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Applied Mathematics within the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at Gdańsk University of Technology. He also serves as Deputy Director for Educational Affairs at the Institute of Applied Mathematics. His office is located in Building B, room 514, and he can be reached at (58) 347 28 71 or via email at robkrawc@pg.edu.pl.
Dr. Krawczyk's research focuses on differential equations, particularly Newtonian systems with singular potentials. His work examines homoclinic solutions, almost periodic functions, and variational methods in dynamical systems. He has made contributions to the understanding of almost homoclinic solutions for perturbed Newtonian systems and has extended approximative schemes originally developed for time-periodic potentials to more general cases. His research keywords include almost homoclinic solution, almost periodic function, approximative method, gordon's condition, homoclinic solutions, newtonian system, newtonian systems, and singular potential.
His recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on mathematical analysis of Newtonian systems, with particular attention to homoclinic orbits and singular potentials. The work combines theoretical analysis with practical approximation methods, contributing to both pure and applied mathematics.
Dr. Krawczyk has been involved in educational projects, notably serving as project manager for "E-podręcznik - przyszłość szkoły zaczyna się dziś..." (E-textbook - the future of school begins today...) under the Kapitał Ludzki financial program. This project was realized in the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics according to agreement UDA.POKL.03.03.04-00-024/10-00 starting from November 3, 2010.
He has taught numerous courses over the years including Differential Equations I, Sobolev Spaces, Bifurcation Theory in Differential Equations, Nonlinear Systems, and Mathematical Signal Analysis. His teaching spans various specializations within mathematics including Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Data Analytics across multiple academic years from 2017 through 2025.
