Robert Kerns is a Professor at the University of Iowa's College of Pharmacy and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Chemistry. His research focuses on designing small molecule therapeutics for diseases like cancer, diabetes, and drug-resistant infections, with a particular emphasis on mitochondrial targeting.
