Robert Hoffman

Robert Hoffman is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), affiliated with the VC Health Sciences Schools. His research program focuses on developing a general cure for cancer, with a particular emphasis on angiogenesis, drug delivery, and translational research. His work involves creating patient-like mouse models of soft-tissue sarcoma subtypes and investigating metabolic pathways such as methionine dependency in cancer cells.
