Robert Hermann is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Doctoral School of History at Károli Gáspár University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where he leads research in the Department of Modern and Contemporary History. Concurrently, he serves as Scientific Deputy Commander at the Institute and Museum of Military History and heads the Dualism Era Research Group at VERITAS Historical Research Institute. His academic credentials include a PhD (1997) and an MTA doctoral degree (2009), both in History from Eötvös Loránd University.
Hermann's research focuses on 19th-century Hungarian political-military history, particularly the 1848-1849 Revolution and Freedom Struggle. His core interests include:
