Dr. Robert G. Goodby is a Professor at Franklin Pierce University’s College of Health & Natural Sciences. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of New Hampshire, and M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from Brown University. His research focuses on New England archaeology, Native American history, and cultural resource management.
Professional activities include membership in the Society for American Archaeology, Eastern States Archaeological Federation, and New Hampshire Archaeological Society. He has presented at major conferences such as the 2015 SAA Annual Meeting and the 2013 Paleoamerican Odyssey Conference.
His service roles include past presidency of the New Hampshire Archaeological Society, membership on the New Hampshire Native American Affairs Commission, and leadership in the Franklin Pierce Honors Program. His publications explore topics ranging from pre-contact stone structures to Paleoindian household organization.
