Robert F. Bohn is a Visiting Instructor in Business Administration at Mercy College’s School of Business. He holds a dual B.S. in Marketing and Communications from Manhattan College, an MBA in Marketing and Management Science from St. John’s University, and is pursuing a PhD in Business Management with a Marketing focus at Capella University. With over 30 years of international marketing experience, Bohn has held roles at organizations like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, ESPN, and Forbes, specializing in brand management, strategic partnerships, and crisis communication.
Bohn teaches at multiple institutions including Fashion Institute of Technology (AMC department), Mercy College, and NYU, focusing on courses like Advertising & Promotion, Marketing Research, and Mass Communications. His teaching emphasizes real-world applications through student projects, guest speakers, and professional data integration (e.g., MRI, Kantar Ad$Pender).
He has mentored over 26 students into internships/jobs at companies like Chanel and Ralph Lauren. Awards include SUNY’s Chancellor’s Award for Adjunct Teaching and NYU’s Torch Pin. Bohn’s consulting firm advises companies on marketing strategies and brand repositioning, leveraging his extensive industry network.
