Robert Evans is an Instructor at Mercer University's School of Music, specializing in audio engineering and music production. He serves as Chief Engineer at Capricorn Sound Studios and oversees the Mercer Music at Capricorn complex, which includes Capricorn Sound Studios, The Capricorn Museum, and the Capricorn Music Incubator. Evans is also co-owner of Creek Media, LLC (operating 100.9 FM The Creek and Soundandsoulonline.com) and founder of Star Motel Recording Studios and Star Motel Records.
His educational background includes:

Evans specializes in studio and live sound engineering, with extensive work in music production, broadcast engineering, and sound design. His technical expertise spans analog/digital recording systems, live venue acoustics, and music industry business models. He has collaborated with major artists including Chuck Leavell (The Rolling Stones), Blackberry Smoke, Gregg Allman, and Drive-By Truckers across studio albums, live concert films, and radio productions.
