Robert Duquette

Robert Duquette is a Teaching Full Professor in the Accounting Department at Lehigh University, where he has taught since 2009. He previously served as a full-time instructor in the state university system and as a partner at Ernst & Young (EY), leading their tax consulting practice in central Pennsylvania and Philadelphia until 2009.

• Education: BA in Economics (highest distinction, high honors) and MBA (highest distinction) from University of Maine, Orono

His research focuses on federal tax reform, national debt implications, and tax law complexity, with an emphasis on debunking misconceptions about corporate taxation and cross-border transactions. He has advised on over 300 corporate deals exceeding $50 billion in value.

Professor Duquette is a member of the editorial board for the Pennsylvania CPA Journal and has served on national boards for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Management Accountants. His awards include membership in honor societies Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Phi Kappa Phi, as well as recognition as EY's top-ranked graduate in tax training.
