معرفی
Robert Drew is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he teaches courses such as Genomics (BIO 401/501) and Research Project (BIO 441). His research focuses on genomic and quantitative genetic approaches to studying adaptations in fish, including clownfish-sea anemone symbiosis, rainbow trout stress responses, and steelhead sperm dynamics.
- PhD in Biology from Washington State University (2006)
- MS in Biology from Washington State University (1997)
- BS in Biology from Purdue University (1994)
Research activities include:
- Genomic analysis of clownfish-sea anemone symbioses
- Quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis of stress-induced growth variations in rainbow trout
- Investigation of plant root competition via DNA markers
Holds academic appointments in integrative biology and biomedical engineering programs, with expertise in genome organization, evolutionary genetics, and bioterrorism-related case studies.
