Dr. Robert Davidson is a Professor and Department Head at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. He holds the R.B. Pamplin Professorship and the William S. Gay Senior Faculty Fellow title. His research focuses on corporate governance, executive misconduct, and financial reporting fraud.

Research Interests: Dr. Davidson investigates how executives' personal behaviors and psychological traits influence corporate outcomes, including fraud detection, insider trading, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). His work has been published in Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial Economics, and Contemporary Accounting Research.
