Dr. Robert D. Yonker is an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business and Innovation at The University of Toledo. He specializes in human resource management, leadership, negotiation, and conflict management. His teaching portfolio includes courses such as Conflict Management: Mediation and Negotiations (MGMT 3630), Employee Training and Development (HURM 4710), and Leading with Power and Influence (MGMT 6160).
Dr. Yonker holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a B.A. in Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
His research focuses on negotiation strategies, conflict resolution, and high-performance HR practices. He has published in journals like The International Journal of Conflict Management and Journal of Management Development.
Recipient of prestigious awards including the 2013 University of Toledo Outstanding Teaching Award and the DeJute Award for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence (2008), he is also an active executive educator and consultant in public and private sectors.
Professional memberships include the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Society for Human Resource Management.
