Robert D. Pahre

Professor Robert D. Pahre is a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the University of Illinois, with cross-appointments across multiple academic units including the American Indian Studies Program, Global Studies Programs and Courses, Recreation Sport and Tourism, European Union Center, Russian East European and Eurasian Center, and Center for Global Studies.

Dr. Pahre earned his B.A. in International Relations and German Studies from Stanford University in 1984, followed by an M.A. (1988) and Ph.D. (1990) in Political Science from UCLA.
