Robert Carlyle Pullar is an Associate Professor at the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. His research focuses on materials science, with emphasis on sustainable materials derived from natural templates, energy materials for solar fuel production, and biomedical ceramics. He has held academic positions at institutions such as Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal) and Imperial College London (UK), and holds editorial roles in journals like Nano-Micro Letters and Ceramics.
Education includes a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Leicester (1991), MSc in Inorganic Chemistry from Bangor University (1993), and PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Warwick (1999).
