Dr. Robert C MacKinnon is Deputy Head of the School of Psychology and Sport Science at Anglia Ruskin University (Faculty of Science and Engineering). A dually HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser, his affiliations include past clinical work at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust and leadership in the Vision and Hearing Sciences Research Group.
His qualifications include:

- MSc in Clinical Science (Neurosensory) with Merit (University of Manchester)
- BA Hons. in Natural Sciences (University of Cambridge)
