Robert Brym is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Toronto, where he also serves as Affiliated Faculty at the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies. He holds a PhD from the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on political sociology, with an emphasis on Jewish communities in Canada, Israel/Palestine, and Russia. Brym has authored over 100 academic articles and 16 books, many of which explore diaspora dynamics, multiculturalism, and historical sociological phenomena such as interwar Jewish life in Poland. His work has been translated into seven languages.
