Robert Bernstein

Robert Bernstein is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health. He holds an MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, a PhD from Pennsylvania State University, an MPH from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, and an AB from the University of Pennsylvania. His expertise spans Preventive Medicine, Public Health, Epidemiology, and Health System Development.

Research Interests: Dr. Bernstein focuses on Public Health Preparedness, Evaluation of Health Systems, Infectious Disease Control, and Health Equity. He has led initiatives in Outbreak Response, Lean Six Sigma-based Health System Improvements, and cross-sector collaborations involving governments, NGOs, and private entities.

Affiliations & Awards: Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine; Member of APHA, APTR, and the American Evaluation Association. His career includes high-level roles with CDC, FEMA, USAID, WHO, and private sector partners.
