Rob Wilby

Professor Rob Wilby is a Professor of Hydroclimatic Modelling at Loughborough University, where he has held this position since 2008. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Federation University, Australia, and has held roles such as Associate Dean for Research in the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences (2011–2013). His academic career includes positions at King’s College London, University of Derby, and affiliations with institutions like the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

Wilby holds a BSc and PhD from Loughborough University. His research focuses on climate change impacts, extreme weather events, and water resource management, with a strong emphasis on hydroclimatic modelling and adaptation strategies.
