Rob Rittenhouse is an Associate Professor of Business at Mount Mercy University, where he has served since 1985. He previously taught at Sinte Gleska College on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. Rittenhouse holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and an MBA from the University of South Dakota, alongside a BS from South Dakota State University. His professional expertise spans academia and taxation.
At Mount Mercy, he is deeply engaged in campus life, having founded the Investment Club, developed the finance major/minor programs, and chaired the department. He has also organized community forums on the 2008 financial crisis and serves as a finance/economics expert for local media. Beyond academia, Rittenhouse has worked in tax fields and enjoys riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his granddaughter.
