Jennifer Rasmussen is a Professor of Education and Department Chair at Mount Mercy University. She holds an MA in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University and is a Doctoral Candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Northern Iowa. Her certifications include K-6 Elementary teaching, K-8 Reading, and Reading Recovery training.
With nine years of elementary teaching experience in Nevada and seven years in integrated multiage primary classrooms, Rasmussen emphasizes holistic teacher preparation, focusing on student-teacher dynamics and classroom environments beyond academics.
