Rob Morris

Professor Rob Morris is a distinguished academic at Nottingham Trent University's School of Science & Technology within the Physics and Mathematics department. He serves as Professor of Physics and Departmental Research Coordinator for the physics team.

His research spans diverse applications of magnetic resonance technology, with core interests in:

• Medical imaging hardware development (especially MRI and ultrasound)
• Food process control and product stability monitoring
• Wastewater treatment and sustainability applications
• Natural fiber composites for medical devices
• Acoustic levitation and benchtop nuclear fusion

Professor Morris pioneered the use of MRI for food product analysis and developed embeddable NMR probes for environmental monitoring.
